Our Story
Emily Rae’s began long before the doors ever opened. When I was 16, I got my very first job in a bridal and prom store — and I fell completely in love with it. Helping brides, prom girls, and shoppers feel beautiful, confident, and celebrated lit something inside me. Even then, I knew I wanted to own a boutique of my own someday.
After graduating college with my associate degree in Small Business, that dream became real. At just 19 years old, I purchased the store with my mom, and together we built a space where every customer feels welcomed, supported, and valued. Bridal became my passion, and creating unforgettable experiences became my purpose.
Over the years, Emily Rae’s has continued to grow and evolve. We’ve moved from downtown Longview, to Bill Owens, and now to our beautiful location on the Longview Loop in the Hobby Lobby–Papacitas shopping center — each move giving us more room to serve our community with care, comfort, and joy.
Along the way, our story has been recognized and celebrated. I’ve been featured on the Bridal Owners Success Stories podcast, highlighted in Dallas Voyage Magazine, and honored with local awards including Best of East Texas and Locals Love Us. But the true joy of this journey has always been the people — the brides finding the dress of their dreams, the prom girls stepping into their moment, the moms looking for something special, and the families who trust us with some of life’s biggest celebrations.
Emily Rae’s isn’t just a boutique. It’s a legacy built on heart, community, and the belief that everyone deserves to feel beautiful in their most important moments. And our story is still being written — one incredible customer at a time.
